The write pipeline

Every configuration change made through Material Asterisk takes the same five steps, in order, real to the transport layer—not marketing language.

  1. BackupCapture the resource before anything changes.
  2. StageWrite the proposed value to a staging handle, not the live file.
  3. ValidateCheck the staged value before it can be applied.
  4. ApplyCommit the staged, validated change.
  5. RollbackOn any failure, restore every applied resource from its backup automatically.

What it looks like

Captures of the real built application, driven on an off-screen desktop so no visible desktop was ever recorded. The tables are empty because the target was freshly provisioned with no calls and no endpoints—an empty table is the truth of the running system, and a populated demonstration would not be.
