Clone recovery continuation, incomplete installed delivery

Objective: finish the approved direct-clone recovery repair, safely recover the installed application and preserve existing repositories. Source repair, focused checks, both exact root builds and the released package are verified. The installed-copy outcome remains unfinished.

Source baseline before this preservation commit: main at 100f001da700315d4155680cf0a9c1268ca75c25. Product source cc4c89c168cb129be77defc2a7e16f8e1540ad25 is the exact normal release v4.0.134701 tag and target. Its Windows/Linux/documentation/publisher runs succeeded. Downloaded unsigned setup/full-package/RELEASES hashes and the Squirrel package row passed. Scene a59bde224a4244aa2770f10a6788be7f538c9c10 is integrated.

Verified 48 renderer presentation tuples and 96 inspected original PNGs at exact CSS 1440x960/960x660 and actual process raster scales 1/1.25/1.5/2. Journal/sentinel preservation and resolved clone filesystem proofs passed. These are private originals containing host-identifying synthetic paths. No current image was publicly promoted. Native OS display-setting and keyboard/pointer delivery are unverified.

The prior application was normally closed after explicit authorization. Its full current profile has a restricted hash-verified recovery copy. Setup and actual-profile launch have NOT started. The prior installation remains unchanged and closed. Next: revalidate installed-process absence and backup freshness, run the verified current-user Squirrel setup on a named hidden desktop, verify installed version/bytes against the package, let production startup reconcile the obsolete journal, and open the existing requested repository through supported Add Local/Open. Never edit/delete the journal manually or clone over an occupied destination. Preserve pre-existing edits in the retained destination.

One earlier synthetic process remains with no eligible application window; its server is absent. Retain its run, immutable executable and private receipts. Only retire exact task-owned source candidates after verified complete archives, remote/default ancestry and preservation. Keep all unrelated or active work. Issue #240 stays open for its separate sorting evidence and unfinished installed acceptance.

This is an account-boundary handoff, not completion. No host power/login operation, forced termination, history rewrite, security weakening, unrelated implementation or unproved deletion is authorized. The existing explicit visible-close authorization remains recorded; do not ask again merely to repeat an already permitted step.
